Erie Preparatory Academy Finalizes Rosters for 2025–2026 Prep and Postgraduate Basketball Teams; Now Enrolling for 2026–2027 Season

Erie, PA - Erie Preparatory Academy is proud to announce that all roster spots have been filled for its 2025–2026 Prep and Postgraduate Basketball Teams. This marks another milestone in the Academy’s continued growth as a nationally recognized destination for student-athletes pursuing excellence both on the court and in the classroom.

Erie Prep Academy's Post Graduate team competed throughout the Great Lakes region during the 2024-2025 season. 6 countries were represented on the team.

The Prep Basketball Team will represent Erie Prep in a competitive schedule throughout the region, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and exposure. The Postgraduate Basketball Program offers high school graduates a unique gap-year opportunity to train, compete, and take college-level courses—all designed to improve recruitment prospects and readiness for NCAA-level play.

The Erie Prep Academy Postgraduate team made history in recent months when their shooting guard, Junxi Yang received the first NCAA Division I basketball offer for a Chinese for his position. This historic moment not only reflects Junxi’s dedication and skill but also showcases the international reach and developmental strength of Erie Prep’s basketball program.

Junxi Yang, Erie Prep Academy student, is the first Chinese to receive a D1 offer as a shooting guard.

With the 2025–2026 rosters now complete, Erie Prep is officially opening enrollment for the 2026–2027 basketball season. Student-athletes interested in joining the Prep or Postgrad programs are encouraged to submit inquiries early, as spots are expected to fill quickly.
