Esports athletes train in dedicated facilities. Equipped with tournament-grade systems, private broadcast suites, and live-streaming technology, the facility supports competition, live production, and content creation at a professional level.
Students also have access to the Erie Sports Now Fitness Center for physical conditioning and training, reflecting Erie Prep’s belief that mental strength begins with physical balance.
Much like other internationally recognized esports academies, Erie Preparatory Academy’s esports athletes live, study, and train together on campus, creating a close-knit community built on teamwork, focus, and shared purpose. Erie Preparatory Academy has partnered exclusively with PennWest Edinboro University to launch the world’s first guaranteed college placement program for esports athletes. This groundbreaking collaboration ensures that every Erie Prep student who graduates while actively competing on one of the academy’s esports teams will have a guaranteed opportunity to continue their education and competition at PennWest Edinboro—joining one of the region’s fastest-growing collegiate esports programs.
This partnership creates a direct and unprecedented pathway from high school to college-level esports, offering young competitors a seamless transition into higher education while continuing to develop as elite digital athletes, scholars, and leaders.

From High School to Collegiate Esports
Erie Prep’s Esports teams compete in statewide and national leagues, including interscholastic circuits, positioning students for college recruitment and scholarship access. Students may pursue collegiate-level esports scholarships through guided recruitment support and exposure opportunities coordinated by Erie Prep’s athletic department.
The academy actively recruits talent worldwide, integrating players from multiple countries to create a globally connected competitive environment where cultural exchange strengthens team performance.
